GREAT FALLS — If you’re not in the Halloween spirit yet, MT Pints in Great Falls may have just the motivation you need.
The restaurant has just kicked off a pumpkin carving contest.
You carve a pumpkin and bring it in and it will be displayed for people to vote on. The cost to enter a pumpkin is $10.
On Halloween, the pumpkin with the most votes will be announced and the top two vote-getters will get a gift card.
"This is just something we thought of one day randomly. 'Hey, why not get the community together, carve some pumpkins, make a little contest out of it. Bring people in for some good food an beer and make it a family event also. It's all ages,” said general manager Travis Teipel.
The deadline to submit your pumpkin is 5 p.m. on October 30. MT Pints is located at 215 3rd Street NW.
