GREAT FALLS — Two seniors - Dani Hardesty and Mailey Yazzie - unveiled a brand-new teepee at Paris Gibson Education Center.
There was a blessing ceremony on Wednesday to honor the teepee. The 18-foot teepee is meant to signify the different tribes and students who attend Paris.
Hardesty explained, "Quite a bite of Native American kids that go here and I think it's important that we are still in touch with our traditions and we keep them alive and everything."
The teepee is expected to be up in front of the school when the weather gets a little bit warmer.
