GREAT FALLS — The Pet Paw-see in Great Falls, an animal rescue organization, is expanding its annual holiday fundraiser due to COVID-19.

The non-profit organization has five angel trees in five businesses this year. Normally, there is only one tree.

The trees have pictures of cats that Pet Paw-See is caring for, and each picture has a QR code you can scan to make a donation to the organization.

COVID-19 has limited the fundraising Pet Paw-See has been able to do throughout the year, so the volunteers decided to put up more trees.

"The kitties are in our homes, the volunteers' homes, and they are also boarded at Happy Tails or F & L or Central West, so we have boarding fees to pay. So it's used for boarding fees, vet bills, and then of course we have to pay for litter and food,” said volunteer Karen Flater.
