GREAT FALLS — A man was injured after a pickup truck crashed into a house in Great Falls on Thursday afternoon.
It happened on the north side of the 200 block of Skyline Drive NE just after 1 p.m.
Initial reports indicate that the pickup truck drove through the front yard of the house and crashed into the corner; damage to the truck appears to be substantial, and there is also damage to the house.
A man - believed to be the driver of the pickup truck - was placed on a stretcher and into an ambulance; he was conscious and talking at the time.
Utility crews were also at the scene as there are reports that a gas line may have been ruptured.
There is no word yet on why or how it happened, such as excessive speed, a medical issue, or a mechanical failure.
Responding agencies include Great Falls Fire Rescue, Great Falls Police Department, Great Falls Emergency Services, and Energy West.
