GREAT FALLS — There is a large police presence along and near a section of 2nd Avenue North 10th Street North in Great Falls.
The activity is centered between 10th Street and 11th Street along 2nd Avenue North, and has been going on since at least 2:10 p.m. on Monday, which is when KRTV was first alerted to the situation.
Several residents have been evacuated from their homes and have been waiting outside for a while.
Officers with the Great Falls Police Department and a team from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit at Malmstrom Air Force Base are at the scene.
One person told KRTV at 3:43 pm: "We saw one man in cuffs in the alley. Several more officers with rifles in front of the buildings."
Officers at the scene declined to provide any information to our reporter.

(UPDATE, TUESDAY MORNING) The GFPD told KRTV that officers executed a search warrant at a ‘trouble house,' but declined to release any other details at this time.
