GREAT FALLS — We have received numerous reports of a power outage affecting some people in and around downtown Great Falls.
We first received word of the outage at about 10:20 a.m.
According to the outage map on NorthWestern Energy's website the power outage has been confirmed, and is affecting more than 1,500 customers.
There is no word at this point from the utility company on the cause of the outage.
They say that power is expected to be restored by about 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
