GREAT FALLS — Great Falls Fire Rescue and police officers responded to a fire at an apartment building 2nd Avenue North on Monday night.

The fire was reported at about 10 p.m. on Monday; a second alarm was called at about 10:17 p.m.

The six-unit apartment building is between 10th Street and 11th Street. 2nd Avenue North is blocked in the area.

The fire was extinguished within about 15 minutes, and crews continued mop-up and investigation for several hours.

There were no injuries.

GFFR said on Tuesday that the cause has not yet been determined.

Not all units of the apartment were occupied at the time of the fire, and the Red Cross is assisting the people who have been displaced. Most of the damage was to one unit.
