GREAT FALLS — The City of Great Falls has contracted to have a 16-inch water main valve replacement on the northwest side of Great Falls.

A press release from the City says that construction activity will require isolating the existing 16-inch valve during construction.

During the isolation process residents in the following areas on the northwest side of town may notice lower water pressure:

Skyline Addition, Skyline Heights, Skyline Park, Henderson Heights, North Riverview Terrace, Eagles Crossing, Great Bear, Valley View Homes, Countryside Village, Northview Addition, West Ridge, Stone Meadows, and Thaniel Addition.

The City is requesting that residents in the affected areas reduce irrigation practices and limit water usage if possible.

The contractor will be working in this area between September 4th and September 5th.

For more information regarding the water main shut down, contact Russell Brewer, Senior Civil Engineer, at 406-771-1258.
