GREAT FALLS — As we get closer to the holiday season the time left for getting packages shipped is coming to a close.
For the UPS Store in Great Falls the week leading up to Christmas is one of their busiest times
The UPS Store Manager Jaymie Christian says there are a few things to keep in mind when trying to get items shipped
“Be prepared to wait. We’re trying to get everybody through the lines as quickly as we can. We’re trying to go through and pre-pack some things for people who are waiting down the line so that by the time they get up to an associate that they will be ready to go and packed.”
Christian says to keep in mind that sometimes the unexpected happens and that customers should take precautions to make sure their items will be protected by insurance or keeping copies of receipts of items purchased.
She noted that carriers are insured as well but when it comes to gift cards, they might not be able to replace the entire amount of the gift card.
She also wanted to thank the community of Great Falls.
“Just hope everyone has a safe happy holiday and we appreciate everybody’s business over the years. We’re going into our 26th year in business so, were just really thankful that were here and able to help everybody.”
FedEx Ground and Home Delivery were Monday the 16th.
For Express Saver and 3 Day Freight the last day is Thursday the 19th, for 2 day Freight if picked up in the morning pick up needs to be Friday the 20th or if in the afternoon would be Saturday the 21st. FedEx Overnight last day for shipping is Monday December 23rd.
For USPS to have your mail delivered on or before Christmas Day, First Class Mail needs to be sent by the 20th, Priority Mail by the 21st, and Priority Mail Express by the 23rd.
And For UPS to have your items delivered by Christmas Eve UPS 3 Day Select needs to be sent by the 19th, UPS 2 Day Air by the 20th, and for UPS Next Day Air, by December 23rd.
