The Cascade County Sheriff’s Office has identified 55-year-old Tawnda Clark of Fort Benton as the victim of a crash northeast of Great Falls on Friday.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the woman was southbound on US Highway 87 near mile marker 13 when she passed two vehicles around 2:20 p.m.

MHP said she re-entered the southbound lane behind a semi-truck and her vehicle began fishtailing due to strong crosswinds.

According to MHP, she lost control of the vehicle, and it rolled into the ditch.

Clark died from blunt force injuries after she was ejected from her vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The MHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
