MISSOULA — A Missing Endangered Person Advisory (MEPA) has been issued by the Montana Deparmtent of Justice for Ben J. Griffing.
The MEPA was issued on behalf of the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Griffing, 62 years old, is about 6’6” tall and weights 165 pounds. He has blue eyes with brown and gray hair. Griffing drives a 1999 white Toyota Avalon with Montana personalized license plate "Giraffe."
He was last seen on January18 in Polson leaving for a skiing and winter camping trip to the Pioneer Mountains near Dillon.
The MEPA states that Griffing frequently camps and skis the Bitterroot Selway Mountains near Darby.
He was reported missing on Wednesday and there is concern for his welfare, according to the advisory.
