Frenchtown man dies in motorcycle crash

MISSOULA — A Frenchtown man died Monday night after he lost control of his motorcycle as was driving on Highway 93 North.

Montana Highway Patrol dispatch reports the 56-year-old man from was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Highway 93 near Evaro when the crash happened.

The road curved to the left but the victim went off the right side of the road, lost control of his bike, and was thrown into the ditch.

MHP says the man died at the scene and he was not wearing his helmet.

Alcohol, speed, drugs are not factors in this crash. The roads were dry at the time of the accident.

The man's name has not yet been released.
