BOZEMAN — A man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash north of Dillon on Saturday, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

MHP said dispatch received the call at 9:24 a.m. The exact time of the crash is undetermined but believed to have occurred around midnight on MT Highway 41.

The 24-year-old Dillon man was driving south on MT-41 when his Dodge Ram pickup truck drifted over the center line. He over-corrected to the right and slid sideways into a ditch, MHP said.

The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected as the vehicle rolled several times.

MHP said the truck's tires were sheared off before it landed upright at 10129 MT-41. The man died at the scene.

Alcohol and speed are suspected as factors in the crash.

The name of the man has not yet been released; we will update you if we get more information.
