BILLINGS — Police said a 17-year-old boy was shot twice and taken to a hospital in Billings early Monday.
Billings police said officers responded to a report of a shooting at 2:30 a.m. at 1018 North 25th Street.
Sgt Hoeger of the Billings Police Department said in a social media post that the teen's injuries are not life-threatening, and that there is no threat to public safety.
Circumstances of how the teen was shot and whether a suspect has been identified have not yet been released.
Police are continuing their investigation; we will update you if we get more information.
