GREAT FALLS — A FedEx truck tipped on its side is blocking traffic along I-15 near the Gary Cooper Bridge.

The Montana Department of Transportation says the northbound driving lane and the southbound passing lane are blocked.

Northbound traffic is being diverted at Craig to the frontage road.

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. near mile marker 241.

According to the MHP, the driver will be cited for careless driving. The driver reportedly hit the guardrail, and the truck tipped, landing on its passenger side.

The fuel tank on the driver's side leaked and caught fire; the fire did not damage the truck, but there is burnt diesel fuel along the road.

The driver sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene.

Drivers are advised to expect delays through the area as emergency crews work to clear the scene.
