BOZEMAN — There was a large police presence at an apartment complex near Bozeman Church of Christ at 19th and Kagy on Sunday afternoon.
Lincoln was blocked off, with Gallatin County Sheriff's Office, Bozeman Police and MSU Police at the scene.
Residents shared video with MTN of law enforcement with guns drawn and people being taken away in handcuffs.
Some residents were not being allowed back in their apartments for the time being, while others are remaining inside.
According to law enforcement officers at the scene, they were investigating reports of a tow truck being shot at in the area.
Seven people were taken in either as witnesses or for questioning.
