The Montana Millionaire will restart play at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, after the game was temporarily paused due to technical problems with ticket sales.

All tickets printed out on Nov. 1, the original start date for the game, and their instant wins are valid for all drawings, lottery officials said on social media.

Dozens of people lined up outside bars and other places selling the tickets across the state in the early morning hours of Nov. 1. Many were frustrated when they saw "Transaction Not Allowed" flashing on their screen when they tried to purchase. In addition, lottery officials said a higher rate of instant winners were recorded in those first hours before the shutdown.

Montana Lottery Director Bob Brown told MTN News the state and its vendor, Bally's Intralot, deployed a new gaming system and saw an unusually high volume of customers in those first few hours.

The state still plans to hold its quarter-million drawing on Nov. 30.

On Dec. 28, the $20,000 player's club drawing and the six grand prize drawings for $1 million each will be held.
