Susie (Falcon) Gross peacefully passed away from a stroke surrounded by family at home, on July 22, 2019, at 11:11 am. Susie was born on February 17, 1946 to Emily (Gladeau) Falcon LaMere and George Falcon in Dodson, MT. She was one of 13 children. The family eventually moved to Great Falls where she went to school. When she was young, she enjoyed playing with her brothers and sisters. She married Toby LaMere in 1961 and had six children. She later married Victor Gross in 1976 and had one son.

Susie worked at the Downtowner when she was young. Then was proud to say, she worked for Camp Crew during wildland fire fighting season until she was in her sixties.

Susie spent her life taking care of her beloved children and grandchildren. She even raised some of her grandchildren,Tristian and Cindy, as well as her last great-grandchild,Tommy . She would never let you go hungry, and would dish you out just enough food. When she was not taking care of all the kids, she enjoyed playing bingo and her machines. She would watch her favorite movies and T.V. shows over and over, including NCIS, Bones, The Good Doctor, Happy Feet, and Lord of the Rings.

During her last years, she would go visit with her brother and sisters during their Wednesday and Saturday PowWows to talk about old times. Susie got to spend her last 4th of July under her favorite tree. Some of her proudest moments were when her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids graduated from high school and college. She was the fry bread queen of our family, and would enjoy her Lolitas from El Comedor. She was known for saying what was on her mind, but she had quiet respectfulness. Susie was sure feisty and mean towards her kids and grandkids, but meant well. Regardless of what she said and how she said it, everyone had great respect and love for her.
