Obituary: Wallace “Wally” L. Martin

Wallace “Wally” L. Martin, 68, of Great Falls and formerly of Choteau, died on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Missouri River Manor, three days prior to his 69th birthday. To his family and friends he was known as “Tag.” This was a name he got by always tagging along with his brother.

Wally was born on March 31, 1951, in Great Falls, to Lloyd and Alice (Luinstra) Martin. He was the younger of two children. He grew up and attended schools in Choteau, MT.

He joined the USAF and was medically discharged. He attended the University of Montana, Missoula and also the Art Institute of Denver, CO. He loved to paint and do charcoal sketches until his disability no longer allowed him to do so.

He never married, but loved his nieces, nephews, great-niece, and great-nephews. He was proud of all of them.
