Man sentenced to probation for shooting at two teens in Missoula

He is charged with assault, purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury to another, and criminal endangerment.

MISSOULA — The 18-year-old who shot at two people behind Sentinel High School last year was sentenced on Thursday.

Missoula Judge John Lason ordered Dylan Conat to a five-year suspended sentence with the Montana Department of Corrections.

Conat will be living at the Ignatia's Sober Living Home, and will be on probation for six months, according to court documents.

He is charged with assault, purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury to another, and criminal endangerment.

Conat previously underwent a chemical dependency evaluation is relation to the case.
