Montana Federal Credit Union has begun an expansion and remodel at its flagship branch on Central Avenue at 14th Street.

President/CEO Steve King said the expansion and remodel of the current building will nearly triple what the credit union currently has for space at that particular office, creating opportunities to consolidate certain departments and allow for growth in the future.

King said in a press release: “We currently are at maximum capacity in our branches in terms of staffing. In addition, our members still appreciate being able to come in and meet with a loan officer or member services representative for their financial needs. Adding on to the building and allowing for increased staff capacity will allow us to continue to deliver on service.”

“There is a lot happening in Great Falls right now, and we are happy to be investing in our community,” continued King.

Dick Anderson Construction is the general contractor on the project, working with CTA Architects Engineers along with the Adrenaline Group.

Membership is open to anyone who lives in Cascade, Chouteau or Teton counties.

The project is expected to be complete in the fall of 2019.
