Easter Sunday has turned out to be a beautiful day. It is still chilly across the majority of the area. More clouds and isolated showers will move in late Sunday.
Fortunately, our temperatures will slowly climb to near average as we head into the week.
Another disturbance will bring rain showers Tuesday evening. Overnight, into Wednesday morning the rain will transition to snow and the winds will increase and gust to 35mph throughout the day.
Snow accumulation on Wednesday will be 1-3 inches in the plains and 4-6 inches in the mountains.
On Thursday high pressure will briefly move through the area clearing the skies, but the temperature will be slow to increase back to normal.
