Happy Saturday everyone!

Winds will pick up tonight ahead of a cold front.

The cold front will swing through the area bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms mainly across the mountains and southwest regions.

The cold front moves away quickly though allowing for clouds to break apart Sunday morning for a mostly sunny to sunny day.

Our concern turns towards humidity levels dropping while the winds continue to whip across the area.

This combination will allow for an increase in an elevated fire threat.

Blaine and Hill County is a big concern for the fire threat but other counties like Garfield, Petroleum, Phillips and Valley are also a concern.

The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for those counties and more from Sunday morning to Sunday evening.
