BLACK EAGLE — December is the time of giving, and Borries Supper Club in Black Eagle is doing what it can to help the community.

On Wednesday, Borries started their first fundraising event for the month of December.

Ten-percent of all sales received today, including dine-in and carry-out, will be donated to Special Olympics Montana, which provides year-round athletic programming for people with disabilities.

They will be conducting weekly fundraising events every Wednesday in December, each week befitting a different organization.

The supper club has been a staple in the community since 1938.

“It’s nice now that I can do my part, and I love working here because they’re so on board with doing their part too, and it’s a time for giving and things are hard for everyone right now, so we’re just doing our best,” said Blair Michel, Borries Supper Club manager.

The Special Olympics fundraising event will end at 8:00 p.m. Borries is located at 1800 Smelter Avenue NE.
