GREAT FALLS — Cascade County Justice Court is hosting its annual “Food For Fines” event.

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (December 11, 12, 13), people who are making monthly payments on fines can satisfy one scheduled monthly payment by bringing in 10 cans/boxes of non-perishable food.

All donated food will be given to the Great Falls Community Food Bank.

In order to participate and receive credit, a person must be current on fines; do not only owe restitution; have no outstanding warrants; and no new tickets.

People should not bring out-of-date/expired or damaged food items, as they can not be used by the Food Bank and will not count as one of your donated items.

Court officials note that other restrictions may apply.

The court is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For more information, call the court at 406-454-6873.
