GREAT FALLS — Kelly’s Closet in Great Falls is working to make sure that every child in our community has something special for Christmas.
Volunteers are busy making stockings and filling them with holiday goodies, including toys, coloring books, and candy canes.
Last year, they distributed more than 250 stockings, and this year they are aiming for 300.
Steven Lane, assistant director of Kelly’s Closet, said, “The children seem to really enjoy them. We got some cards and letters from them last year and you know, the usual ‘thank yous,’ but it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s so cool to get this or that in my stocking’.”
