The Lewis and Clark Sheriff’s Office were involved in a high speed pursuit Sunday evening.

A man led deputies on a high-speed chase at around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, and fled to the Helena Campground and R.V. Park.

Sheriff Leo Dutton told MTN when the man got out of his vehicle, pointed a firearm at himself, and threatened suicide. The man then ran to a trailer house.

After negotiations with deputies, the 37-year-old Robert Fasuga of Helena gave himself up peacefully.

Undersheriff Jason Grimmis says Fasuga has several warrants for his arrest out of both Lewis and Clark and Cascade counties.
