GREAT FALLS — An annual inspection will begin on Monday, August 26, on the 10th Avenue South bridge (also known as the Warden Bridge), and continue through Wednesday, August 28.

The inspection will be happening between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on those days. The eastbound lanes will have a single lane closure during those days.

Drivers can expect single lane closure, reduced speed limit of 35 miles per hour, inspection vehicles, and workers on the bridge.

According to press release from the Montana Department of Transportation, the lane closure will be for right/driving or upstream lane on the bridge. Flaggers will be in the work zone on River Road beneath the bridge when the inspection vehicle is on the road.

Drivers are encouraged to adjust their travel time and schedules accordingly.

Drivers are reminded to watch for work crews and equipment, as well as signs indicating reduced speed limits. Posted limits are enforced until signs indicate that the work zone has ended. Fines are doubled when workers are present in the work zone.
