GREAT FALLS — Cassiopeia Books in Great Falls is on the move - but not too far from its original home on Central Avenue.

Manager Andrew Guschausky told MTN News the building that housed the store at 721 Central Avenue recently sold, prompting the move; the new location is at 606 Central Avenue.

He says he wanted to keep the bookstore downtown and thinks the new location will be great for operations. “Landing at 606 Central is perfect because its gets the bookstore a little closer to the center of downtown,” he said.

The venue also offers more room for events and is closer to downtown. “The space is significantly larger which is perfect, as so many of the bookstore’s events this past year have had such high turnouts that extra square footage was becoming a necessity,” he said.

Guschausky anticipates the store will open in its new home in early May.

“I am so excited to eventually open the doors to all the customers and friends that have kept Cassiopeia Books a thriving, local bookstore.”

While the store is closed, they’re still offering book deliveries and scheduled curbside pickup. Click here to visit the Facebook page.
