GREAT FALLS — A crash along 3rd Street NW in Great Falls is slowing traffic.
Initial reports indicate that at least two vehicles are involved; there is no word yet on whether anyone has been seriously injured, nor the cause of the crash.
We first received word of the crash at about 8:30 a.m., and it appears to have happened at or near 3rd Street NW and 17th Avenue NE.
Police are blocking northbound traffic at 16th Avenue NW; most traffic from that diversion point is proceeding along 16th and then turning north on Division, and then turning left onto Smelter Avenue to re-connect with 3rd Street NW/Smelter.
Responding agencies include the Great Falls Police Department and Great Falls Fire Rescue.
