GREAT FALLS — Emergency crews are responding to a crash near Malmstrom Air Force Base.
According to Great Falls Fire Rescue at 7:45 a.m., at least one person has been injured and may require extrication from a vehicle.
It happened at or near the intersection of 2nd Avenue North and 57th Street, the main intersection leading to Malmstrom.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible so that emergency crews can work safely and clear the scene.
There is no word on the number of vehicles involved, nor the possible cause of the crash.

(UPDATE, 8:10 am) Great Falls Fire Rescue says that the scene has been cleared, and the patients have been taken to a hospital. There is no word on the nature or severity of their injuries.
