GREAT FALLS — Emergency personnel are staged along and in the Missouri River for a possible river rescue.

We began receiving messages about it just after 5 p.m. on Saturday.

An officer at the scene says that they received credible reports that a man may have jumped or fallen into the river.

There are Great Falls police officers, Great Falls Fire Rescue personnel, and Cascade County Sheriff's Office personnel at the scene, with EMS personnel standing by near the river along River Drive near the skate park, police officers at the Central Avenue bridge, and also at West Bank Park.

In addition, a search and rescue boat is in the river.

At this point, no one has been found in the river.

We will update you if we get more information.
