GREAT FALLS — The Downtown Great Falls Association is preparing for the holiday season, with several events coming up soon.

The official city Christmas tree was cut down on Wednesday by the The Good Wood Guys; the tree was donated by a Great Falls resident, and will likely be put in place in front of the Civic Center later today.
