GREAT FALLS — Amy Grisak and Beth Hill will host an "Owl Prowl" on Saturday, February 15, for the Upper Missouri Breaks Audubon Society at Giant Springs State Park.
This is a free event open to the public.
Amy told KRTV that great horned owls are nesting at this time, so they are going to show the group the park's resident pair and hopefully listen to them hoot back and forth to each other.
They will also take a look around the park and see what birds they can spot.
Spring is just around the corner, so this is a terrific opportunity to polish up those birding skills.
The walk will start at 4 pm and go until close to dark.
To sign up, or for more information, call Amy at 406-750-1700.
The park is located at 4803 Giant Springs Road.
