GREAT FALLS — Five daycare facilities and the Great Falls Early Education Association are stocking drop-off boxes or bins in front of their businesses.

Anyone can come and take what they need, or people can drop items off in the box.

Nikki Davalos, owner of Adventure Awaits, this is her way of helping in this uncertain time.

“I just saw that everybody is kind of scrambling to find stuff and I knew I had a couple of things that were extra and had started getting my little library together, and then figured out people probably aren’t going to come and get books, but there is other things that they needed so I decided to stock it with things that I knew people were asking for and running out of."

They encourage others who can to start their own “Free Little Pantry.”

Current locations of the boxes:

  • Wee Care - hosted at The Little Store
  • Jill’s Place - 1826 6th Street NW
  • Little Halos - 901 14th Street SW
  • Adventurous Learning Place - 2009 5th Avenue South
  • Adventure Awaits Child Care - 801 27th Street North

They ask that "people follow the suggested tips in keeping yourself safe set by our leadership. Wash your hands before packing items. All locations are licensed child cares and constantly practice safe sanitizing and disinfecting."
