The agency said firefighters faced challenging conditions, including burning debris and heavy vegetation that initially blocked access to the home.

Once a safe path was established, crews began exterior fire attack to reduce fire intensity before making entry through the kitchen door.

A search of the home was completed and no occupants or pets were found inside.

Due to the extent of fire and structural damage, command transitioned operations to a defensive posture.

The cause of the fire remains is still being investigated; the home is considered a total loss.

GFFR said that no residents were displaced, as the structure was unoccupied at the time.
