President Trump and Montana Gov. Steve Bullock have ordered flags be flown at half-staff for victims of COVID-19 and their families.

The governor states that more than 93,000 Americans, including 16 in Montana, have died from the novel coronavirus.

"Together we mourn every life that has been claimed by the novel coronavirus," Bullock stated in his proclamation. "Each of those deaths leaves behind countless loved ones who mourn the loss of a parent, sibling, child or friend."

"Our Nation mourns for every life lost to the coronavirus pandemic, and we share in the suffering of all those who endured pain and illness from the outbreak," Trump stated in his proclamation. "May God be with the victims of this pandemic and bring aid and comfort to their families and friends."

The half-staff orders for the president and the governor both run from Friday and until sunset on Sunday.
