Veterans "Stand Down" underway in Great Falls

GREAT FALLS — The annual Vets 4 Vets Stand Down at Montana ExpoPark brings together government agencies, housing providers, non-profits, and businesses to connect veterans with job services, legal advice, financial advice, claims and benefits, family services, psychological and addiction counseling, physical therapy, and haircuts.

Medical services and health screenings such as dental, blood pressure, hearing, and vision will also be available.

Homeless veterans are also able to receive clothing, shoes, and other surplus supplies, provided they have met the eligibility requirements.

The event is open to all area veterans and their families and is located in the Family Living Center at Montana ExpoPark.

The event continues on Friday, September 6, from 10 am to 5 pm.
