GREAT FALLS — There is now a waiting list for people in Pondera County who want to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
You need to call the Pondera Medical Center Clinic at 406-271-3231 to get your name on the list. Priority is currently being given to health care and frontline workers and anyone over 75.
The hospital gets 100 doses of the vaccine a week and, as of Wednesday, had been able to vaccinate around 150 people.
"I think we're going to try at least once a week. If we can do more, we'll certainly try. We'll continue to basically look at that list, see if we have enough, get enough people on a list that want to come in in a particular window and we'll get that done,” said Dr. Jay Taylor, Pondera Medica Center Chief Medical Officer.
The clinic has also contracted with Walgreen’s to help vaccinate people.
