LOLO — An arctic front passed through western Montana last night, and overnight precipitation left Lolo blanketed in snow.
That means hard work for some people left clearing their driveways, and play time and fun in the snow for others.
For Josh Tienhaara and Lantana Clark, Missoula residents, the fresh snow means helping out others in need.
MTN News found the pair shoveling out sixty-nine-year-old Anne Clark's driveway.
Anne Clark said that even though she's lived in Lolo for 17 years, people rarely offer her help with shoveling.
"We are offering a free service to elderly or disabled people. We are happy to shovel your driveway for you, and also your sidewalk for free," Lantana Clark said.
Clark and Tienhaara hope to add more houses to their shoveling route, particularly in smaller communities such as Lolo, Frenchtown, and Florence.
"If you guys know someone or yourself that would be able to utilize this service, please let us know because we would be very, very happy to help you out," Clark said.
