(UPDATE, FEBRUARY 16) Park County Sheriff Tad Dykstra released this statement to MTN News: "In reference to the incident that occurred on 2/12/26, I do not have many details that I can release at this time. The deceased, William Georgeson (65) of Pray, died under suspicious circumstances and our detectives are working tirelessly to put all of the pieces together. Again, our office sees no threats to the public that would cause concern."
GREAT FALLS — Authorities in Park County are investigating after the body of a 65-year-old man was found in a residence about four miles northeast of Pray near the Yellowstone River.
Deputies were called to the residence near the intersection of East River Road and Chicory Road for a reported disturbance and found the body, according to the Park County Sheriff's Office.
The Montana Division of Criminal Investigation and the Park County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
Authorities do not believe there is any threat to the public.
The identity of the man has not yet been released, and authorities have not yet released any other details.
