Margaret Evelyn Sack passed on Sunday Sept 29th, 2019 at age 89. Her last days were spent surrounded by family and friends who love her. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Croxford Funeral home in The Rose Room Chapel.
Margaret was lovingly called “Margie” by her friends and family and “Mingy” by her nephew, David. Margie and her twin sister, Marion, were born on November 12th 1929 in Rolette, ND, to Elmer and Anna Adams.
Margie had three sisters, Marion, Ethel, and Edna, and one brother, Vern. Margie grew up on the family farm in North Dakota and attended school in Barton, ND. She later moved to Great Falls in 1947 and began her career at the Columbus Hospital as a candy striper. She met the love of her life, Morris Sack, and they married in May 1955. Margie was devoted to raising their four children, Linda,
Darryl, Sheila, and Rick. She also worked at Woolworth’s dime store downtown and later she enjoyed helping serve lunches to the kids at CMR high school. Margie had a love for people and she would always take the time to stop and visit about your family and current affairs. Margie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She loved to go dancing, camping, and boating. She especially enjoyed catching up with everyone at family dinners and picnics. Margie rarely missed the occasion to watch her boys play baseball and later she attended many sporting and school events for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
