Marion Elizabeth Thul, 84, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
Marion was born on July 13, 1936, in Choteau, Montana to William and Elizabeth (Laverdure) McFarlane. She attended schools in Choteau graduating from Choteau High School. She married Jim Thul at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Choteau on October 29, 1955, and shortly after they moved to Great Falls.
Marion stayed at home while their two children, Mary Ann and Bob were growing up. After they grew up, she went to work at the NCO Club on Malmstrom AFB, and then on to the pre-release center where she was the first lady to retire from there.
She volunteered for the American Red Cross and provided food for receptions and dinners at Holy Spirit. She enjoyed playing Bingo and prayed the rosary daily.
