Roy O. Young, 101, a retiree from the Montana State Employment Office and the Montana Fish Wildlife Department, passed away January 27, 2021.
Roy was born to Winifred and Ernst Young on September 30, 1919 in Great Falls, Montana. He graduated from Great Falls High School in 1937. He held several jobs in Great Falls before joining the Navy in 1942 and had the honor of being a World War II Veteran.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was a beekeeper and a great woodworker.
Roy is survived by daughters, Bonnie (Hal) Jorgensen, Loretta Stemple, and Kathy Ermisch; and stepdaughters, Karleen Anderson and Donna (Paul) Koss.
