BUTTE — Butte police report that six people accidentally overdosed in the last two days after using a potent form of heroin.
One of the overdose victims has died, while the others have recovered, according to police.
Police report all the victims used heroin intravenously, and suffered immediate respiratory arrest.
The heroin is suspected of being highly potent, and possibly laced with Fentanyl.
Sheriff Ed Lester warns people not to use the drug, because it is highly lethal.
