Good Thursday everyone!

I hope you have enjoyed this beautiful spring day because significant changes are on the way but more on that in a second.

Tonight, temperatures will fall down to around 33 degrees with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow, clouds will continue to build into the area with chances of rain increasing throughout the afternoon. The high will be around 54 degrees.

Friday evening is where we start to see rain transition to snow as a significant late season winter storm moves in.

This is why the National Weather Service has upgraded the Great Falls area to a Winter Storm Warning until 12 a.m. Sunday.

The Great Falls area is expected to see snowfall accumulations between 4 to 7 inches and Helena could see 3 to 5 inches.
