Warmer air returns to Montana on Thursday.

As high pressure rebuilds over the state, temperatures will return to the low 80s this afternoon.

A weak cold front is on track to pass through the state overnight into Friday morning.

This front will help to instigate a few showers throughout North Central Montana.

These showers are expected to be short lived and taper off mid morning on Friday.

Even hotter temperatures are on tap this weekend.

Both Saturday and Sunday are expected to reach the mid to high 80s for most.

Another weak weather disturbance will pass through the state on Sunday.

This system will help to increase the wind and possibly kick off a few spotty showers.

The first portion of next week is trending dry with temperatures in the mid 70s.
