Strong winds will be the main weather concern on Monday.

The winds are expected to pick up later Monday, likely around 30 to 40 mph.

Gusts in excess of 70 mph are not out of the question.

This will help to bump temperatures allowing for daytime highs on Monday to reach the mid to high 60s.

Winds will remain prominent on Tuesday as our next weather system approaches.

The cold front associated with this system will drop through the state on Tuesday, first helping to kick off rain and then snow later in the day.

More snow is likely on Wednesday, in total likely around 1 to 3 inches for most of Central Montana.

The Rocky Mountain Front and mountains are expected to see much greater totals.

Snow should move out late Wednesday, however temperatures will remain very cold through Thursday.

We should see a boost in temperatures on Friday, eventually reaching the 50s by Saturday.
