Despite less wind the fire danger remain high in Central Montana

Fire weather conditions remain in place on Tuesday.

Winds will be less of an issue today; however, dry vegetation, high temperatures, and very low humidity levels will continue.

Temperatures will be will into the 80s this afternoon and humidity levels are expected to fall below 20 percent.

Wind will once again become an issue on Wednesday.

Gusts of 30 mph are likely throughout Central Montana.

In anticipation of the fire weather conditions, the National Weather Service has a Fire Weather Watch scheduled to go into effect Wednesday afternoon.

Following Wednesdays cold front, rain is expected to move in Friday afternoon.

Temperatures will remain a bit cooler through the weekend.

Another round of rain is likely on Sunday for parts of Central Montana.
