Showers and well below average temperatures continue on Tuesday.

Daytime highs will struggle to reach the low 60s this afternoon.

A few spotty showers are likely early in the day, however more widespread rain is expected this evening.

The hardest hit area in the terms of rain will be Southwestern Montana.

As temperature continue to fall this evening, many mountain ranges will likely see some snow.

A winter storm watch has been issued for the high terrain in Southwestern Montana.

Locations above 6,000 feet in this region will have the potential to pick up around four to eight inches of snow.

Widespread rain will continue Wednesday morning, eventually becoming more scattered later in the day.

A few lingering showers are likely on Thursday before high pressure begins to rebuild over the state.

More sun and temperatures in the low 70s are expected on Friday.

This weekend is looking to be a mild one with highs in the low to mid 80s.
